John Ternus neemt het roer over bij het meest waardevolle bedrijf ter wereld te midden van recordkwartaalopbrengsten

Apple bereidt zich voor op een grote leiderschapswisseling nu Tim Cook op 1 september aftreedt als chief executive na 15 jaar aan het roer van het bedrijf.

Cooks weg naar de top en belangrijkste prestaties

Tim Cook nam de ceo-rol in augustus 2011 over toen Steve Jobs om gezondheidsredenen opstapte. Tijdens zijn leiderschap bereikte Apple meermaals de status van meest waardevolle bedrijf ter wereld en introduceerde het belangrijke producten en diensten zoals de Apple Watch, AirPods, HomePod, Vision Pro, Apple Music en Apple TV.

Apple gaat de transitie in met een sterke financiële positie

Het bedrijf heeft in recente kwartalen records geboekt op het gebied van kwartaalomzet, waardoor het goed gepositioneerd is nu Tim Cook het leiderschap overdraagt aan John Ternus.
