De castingveteraan van The Simpsons en Futurama sluit zich aan bij de release van 2027, gebaseerd op het bestverkopende kinderboek van Mike Bender

Scott Muller, de langjarige castingdirector achter “The Simpsons” en “Futurama,” zal de voicecasting verzorgen voor The Most Serious Fart, een aankomende animatiefilm van Utopai. De film is gebaseerd op het populaire kinderboek van Mike Bender en staat gepland voor release in de bioscopen in 2027.

Verhaal draait om de weg van een wind naar zelfacceptatie

Het project volgt Siegfried, een stijve wind die zich schaamt voor zijn identiteit en probeert winderigheid om te vormen tot iets respectabels. Zijn reis leidt hem naar zelfacceptatie, nieuwe vriendschappen en onverwacht plezier.

Muller brengt ervaring mee van succesvolle animatieseries

Mullers credits omvatten ook “King of the Hill” en de geanimeerde “Napoleon Dynamite”-serie. Hij zal samenwerken met story artist Andy Brooks van “Coyote vs. Acme”, waarbij Bender optreedt als schrijver, regisseur en producent. Russell Hollander completeert het productieteam.

Voice casting will define how audiences first connect with Siegfried and the world around him. Mike has created characters that invite bold comedy but also have a genuine emotional point of view. I am excited to find the voices that can make the humor land while giving the story the warmth and humanity at its center.

Menselijke artiesten sturen het creatieve proces met selectieve ai-ondersteuning

Menselijke animators en illustratoren zullen het artwork van de film creëren en het creatieve proces leiden. Utopai benadrukte dat ai slechts als selectief productietool zal dienen om iteratie te ondersteunen onder directe menselijke supervisie.
