Tom Cruise heeft er vertrouwen in dat David Ellison zijn plannen zal waarmaken om dertig films per jaar uit te brengen met de gecombineerde middelen van Paramount en Warner Bros..

In The Pat McAfee Show noemde Cruise het doel een spannende kans voor de filmgemeenschap.

I think it’s awesome. You know, here’s the thing. They’re going to deliver 30 movies. It’s a community to me. It’s not an industry. The people in these studios are not just people in the studios. They’re my family. I know we’re going to get those 30 movies. I want us all to come together as a community to help make those 30 movies. It’s not just going to be, you know, Paramount doing it. Everyone’s going to need all the help of every artist to be able to do it.

Cruise benadrukt noodzaak van collectieve inspanning over studio’s heen

Cruise benadrukte dat het behalen van dit aantal releases de deelname van artiesten uit de hele sector vereist en niet alleen op één studio kan steunen.

Decennia van samenwerking verbinden Cruise aan Paramount

Cruise heeft een uitgebreid oeuvre opgebouwd met Paramount. De studio heeft sinds de eerste film in 1996 alle delen van de Mission: Impossible-serie uitgebracht. Andere projecten zijn de Top Gun-films, The Firm, Vanilla Sky, Collateral, War of the Worlds, Jack Reacher en Days of Thunder.

Een vervolg op Days of Thunder staat gepland voor 2028.

Openbare uitingen van studio-loyaliteit gaan door

Cruise heeft zijn band met de studio op openbare wijze getoond, onder meer door tijdens een featurette voor de CinemaCon 2025-presentatie de Paramount-watertoren te beklimmen.
