Shorts werkt samen met Full Moon Artists aan eerste verticale microdrama in de Hamptons

Love in the Hamptons lanceert de FMAxShorts-reeks en begint eind deze maand met de opnames in East Hampton.

Vertical streamingdienst Shorts heeft een samenwerking gesloten met Full Moon Artists Productions voor de romantische microdrama Love in the Hamptons. Het project is de eerste titel onder het nieuwe FMAxShorts-label en gaat eind deze maand van start met de opnames in East Hampton, New York.

Creatief team en schrijvers

De serie wordt ontwikkeld door FMA-executives Sarah Moliski en Rebecca Stoughton. Schrijvers Marc Cotter en Bilella van Water Street Films, bekend van Rival Hearts, schreven het script. Het verhaal is rechtstreeks geïnspireerd op Moliski’s persoonlijke achtergrond en wil de East End zowel als glamoureuze bestemming als hechte gemeenschap neerzetten.

Industrieveteranen richten Full Moon Artists op

FMA Productions werd eerder dit jaar opgericht toen horrorproducent Charles Band de krachten bundelde met microdrama-talenten Moliski, Stoughton, Felix Merback en Eric Guilmette. De groep produceert nu Love in the Hamptons als eerste project. De cast wordt binnenkort bekendgemaakt. Producenten beschrijven de serie als de eerste verticale drama die ooit op locatie in de Hamptons is gefilmd.

Letterel merkte ook op dat Moliski en FMA zowel de creatieve visie als toegang tot de gemeenschap leverden, waardoor Shorts hoge standaarden kan handhaven in live-action verticale content. Voor FMA volgt deze samenwerking op eerdere Reelshort-titels Dungeons of Ecstasy en Models vs. Werewolves.

Achtergrond van de belangrijkste talenten en producenten

Moliski heeft erkenning gekregen als een van de belangrijkste antagonisten in het verticale format en als vooraanstaande castingproducent in Los Angeles. Ze adviseert grote verticale drama-platforms over talentacquisitie en contentstrategie. Stoughton is te zien geweest in meer dan veertig verticale soaps en drama’s. Band, een ervaren horrorproducent en distributeur, runt het Full Moon Features-streamingkanaal naast zijn groeiende microdrama-activiteiten.
