It can feel polished, rugged, feminine, oversized, familiar or unexpected. That ability to move effortlessly between wardrobes, generations, cities and points of view is exactly why it has remained such a lasting J.Crew icon.
First introduced in 1986, the Barn Jacket returns with a reworked silhouette that lands at the waist for a slightly boxier modern shape. Signature elements such as corduroy accents, generous pockets and adjustable button cuffs remain intact. The original 1986 cut is also offered alongside the new versions.
The expanded line includes 29 styles for women, men and kids in a range of colorways, patterns and fabrics. Signature cotton canvas sits alongside newer interpretations. Prices start at $98 and reach $898.
The complete campaign imagery, accompanying film and all available styles are now live on jcrew.com. The project builds on J.Crew’s history of collaborating with notable talent while marking a significant milestone for one of its most recognizable pieces.
