Toronto International Film Festival heeft een last-minute speciale vertoning ingepland van Zack Snyder’s The Last Photograph, die op zondag 13 september om 18.30 uur wereldpremière heeft in het John Bassett Theatre in het Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

Film Stars Ex-DEA Agent on Path of Revenge

The project stars Stuart Martin, known for Army of Thieves, and Fra Fee from Hawkeye. It follows an ex-DEA agent pursuing vengeance through the treacherous jungles of South America, where harsh landscapes collide with personal demons. Filming took place across Colombia, Iceland and Los Angeles.

Snyder Reunites With Rebel Moon Cast for Independent Production

Snyder previously collaborated with both lead actors on the sci-fi franchise Rebel Moon. He secured independent financing to bring this smaller-scale story to the screen.

The idea of taking a camera in hand and simply making a movie in an intimate way is very appealing to me. The Last Photograph is a meditation of life and death, embodying some of the trials that I have experienced in my own life and the exploration of those ideas through image making.

Screenplay and Production Team Details

Kurt Johnstad wrote the screenplay, while Snyder receives story credit. Snyder, Deborah Snyder and Wesley Coller produce via Stone Quarry. Gianni Nunnari produces through Hollywood Gang Productions, with Alisha Stickney serving as co-producer.

Executive producers include Mediaset España through its Telecinco Cinema division, William Doyle and Jaguar Bite. True North handled production services in Iceland, while Jaguar Bite, led by Juan Pablo Solano and Simon Beltran, managed services in Colombia.
