De Outer Critics Circle heeft vandaag de winnaars van de 2025-2026 awards bekendgemaakt en de hoogste onderscheidingen voor nieuwe Broadway-producties toegekend aan de musical Schmigadoon! en het toneelstuk The Balusters.
Revivalcategorieën gingen naar Ragtime als outstanding musical revival en Death of a Salesman als outstanding play revival. De groep, die theatercritici voor nationale en digitale media vertegenwoordigt, erkende ook opvallend Off Broadway-werk met Mexodus die de musicalprijs won en Meet the Cartozians die won voor toneelstuk.
In de acteercategorieën won Nathan Lane de prijs voor outstanding lead performer in a Broadway play voor zijn rol in Death of a Salesman. Laurie Metcalf ontving de featured performer award in dezelfde productie. Joshua Henry won de lead performer prijs in een Broadway musical voor Ragtime, terwijl Ben Levi Ross won voor featured performer in die show.
Daniel Radcliffe claimde de solo performance award voor Every Brilliant Thing. Hij ging voorbij aan concurrenten waaronder Sean Hayes in The Unknown en Jean Smart in Call Me Izzy.
Schmigadoon! en Ragtime verzamelden elk vijf awards, het hoogste aantal van de avond. Death of a Salesman en Mexodus volgden met elk vier overwinningen. Twee shows wonnen twee awards: The Lost Boys en Well, I’ll Let You Go. Enkele overwinningen gingen naar Cold War Choir Practice, Every Brilliant Thing, Meet the Cartozians, The Baker’s Wife, The Balusters en The Reservoir.

De awardceremonie vindt plaats op donderdag 21 mei in het Manhattan Movement & Arts Center. Producties die alleen in aanmerking kwamen voor nieuwe elementen waren Cats: The Jellicle Ball, Liberation en Titaníque.
