Kehlani heeft de volledige planning onthuld voor haar aanstaande Noord-Amerikaanse headline tour getiteld The Kehlani World Tour. De 33-daagse tour begint op 6 augustus in Minneapolis en eindigt op 3 oktober in San Francisco, met stops bij prominente locaties zoals Barclays Center in New York en Intuit Dome in Los Angeles.

Speciale gasten voegen zich bij de tour

Kehlani deelt het podium met Durand Bernarr, Isaia Huron, TheARTI$t en Waseel tijdens de meeste shows. Durand Bernarr mist de Milwaukee-datum op 7 augustus. De tour markeert een grote live push achter haar zelfgetitelde album dat in april uitkwam.

Voorverkoop start deze week

De artiestenvoorverkoop begint op 27 mei om 10 uur lokale tijd. Extra voorverkopen volgen gedurende de week. Kaarten voor het algemene publiek gaan op 29 mei om 10 uur lokale tijd in de verkoop via de website van de artiest. Voor elke verkochte kaart draagt Kehlani één dollar bij aan het Kehlani Fund, een initiatief van Live Nation in samenwerking met PLUS1.

Recent album scoort sterke debuutnotering

Het zelfgetitelde project debuteerde op nummer 4 in de Billboard 200 en is daarmee het grootste debuutweekend voor een R&B-album van een vrouwelijke artiest in 2026 tot nu toe. De plaat brengt een ode aan de R&B- en hiphopklanken uit het begin van de jaren 2000. Leadsingle Folded won eerder dit jaar twee Grammy Awards.
