Door Obama opgericht productiebedrijf wordt executive producer en creatieve partner van de populaire show

Het productiebedrijf opgericht door voormalig president Barack Obama en Michelle Obama verdiept zijn betrokkenheid in basketballmedia. Higher Ground is toegetreden als executive producer en creatieve partner voor de podcast The Young Man and the Three, ook bekend als YM3.

Nieuw seizoen start met opvallende gasten

De podcast keert donderdag terug met een nieuw seizoen. Vroege gasten zijn onder meer Oklahoma City Thunder-forward Jalen Williams, Philadelphia 76ers-guard Jared McCain en Oklahoma City Thunder-guard Ajay Mitchell. Barack Obama verscheen tijdens het eerste seizoen in de show en gaf het programma daarmee een vliegende start.

Host verwelkomt Higher Ground

Tommy Alter presenteert YM3, dat voortkwam uit zijn eerdere samenwerking aan The Old Man and the Three met de huidige hoofdcoach van de Los Angeles Lakers, JJ Redick. Alter toonde zich zeer enthousiast over de nieuwe samenwerking.

Dan Fierman, die bij Higher Ground de podcasts leidt, wees op de natuurlijke aansluiting tussen beide partijen. Het bedrijf heeft al basketball-ervaring via de Netflix-docuserie Starting 5 en de olympische serie Court of Gold.
