De voormalige Kate Plus 8-ster sluit zich aan bij een sterrencast die extreme uitdagingen aangaat in de Maleisische jungle deze herfst

Collin Gosselin keert terug in de schijnwerpers met een realitycompetitie met hoge inzet. De 22-jarige, bekend van de TLC-serie Jon & Kate Plus 8 en de spin-off Kate Plus 8, zal meedoen aan seizoen vijf van Fox’s Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.

Negen jaar nadat de familieshow stopte, deelde Collin Gosselin op 15 juli zijn enthousiasme op Instagram. Hij beschreef de ervaring als bijzonder en benadrukte de opmerkelijke mensen die hij tijdens de opnames ontmoette.

Kate Gosselin verscheen in het eerste seizoen van de show in 2023. Collin gaf aan dat hij ernaar uitkijkt dat kijkers de cast samen de veeleisende taken zien uitvoeren wanneer de serie terugkeert.

Sterrencast staat jungle-uitdagingen te wachten

Several other well-known figures will join Collin Gosselin in the hostile environment. The cast includes actress Candace Cameron Bure, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Brandi Glanville, and former congressman George Santos. Additional participants range from actors and athletes to reality stars such as Oliver Hudson, Mauricio Umansky, Alexia Umansky, Breana Tiesi, Hannah Stocking, Ruby Rose, LeSean McCoy, Matt Barnes, Alycia Baumgardner, David Charvet, and Maxim Naumov.

George Santos also posted on Instagram July 15, teasing a life-changing perspective gained from the experience that audiences will soon witness.

Zware uitdagingen in Maleisië

The season premieres Sept. 24 on Fox and unfolds in the jungles of Malaysia. Recruits will face unpredictable terrain, harsh conditions, and intense military-style tasks with no votes or eliminations, only survival.

Challenges include searching a claustrophobic underground bunker, retrieving supplies while suspended high above the jungle floor, and enduring chemical gassing while locating enemy coordinates. The format strips away glamour and forces celebrities to confront raw physical and mental demands.
